I had requested for an online extension but haven't received any confirmation yet. I have to send her back before 1-year mark and apply Supervisa for her so she can stay longer and eventually apply for the PR subject to the lottery.
She can't stay alone in India for long periods. My sister is in Ontario..they moved a year back.
I am considering traveling with her to India and apply for Supervisa immediately. Can anyone tell me whats the current processing time for Supoervisa in India.
not sure how long is processing time but i did apply supervisa online for my mom Feb 17 2022 online through NEW IRCC PORTAL. let see how long it will take.

She can’t live in Canada so if she has spent almost 1 year in Canada she should be reestablishing her ties to India before applying for a supervisa. It actually looks like she hasn’t lived in India for a long time and has split her time between the US and Canada for years. You may want to apply for her PR as soon as possible but it isn’t guaranteed so you need to have a back-up plan. Many have the same plan as you but there are limited spots and parents sponsorship is not guaranteed.
Good to know. I don't know why my parents application isn't moving since January 22,their application is also in new Delhi? They have completed Biometric only but never request for medical?
