Supervisa for parents

Hello everyone.

Could anyone guide on extension of supervisa. My father receive 5 years of supervisa based on on the expiry of the password where as my mother received 1.5 years. Will I be able to extend her supervisa while she is in Canada or will she have to leave the country. If I re-apply then can can I do that while she is in Canada?

She can apply to extend her stay (while she's still in Canada) or apply for a new supervisa.

Just to clarify she will need to leave Canada to eventually apply for another supervisa. Would suggest she reestablish ties to her home country before applying for her next supervisa since she remains in visitor in Canada and can not live in Canada permanently.
