For my mother in law
Application filed in August
Biometrics request received in 2 days
Biometrics done sep 7th
Home country India
No update since then
Website says processing times 33 days
I am confused about the re submission. I applied for my mother in law in April 2021 for super visa. So do I need to resubmit the application ? Does the super visa falls in that category which needs to be resubmitted ? Can some one clear this confusion ?

I've submitted my Mother's Super visa Application Today Oct - 2- 2021
Thanks everyone for all your help in answering my questions, special thanks to BillHyatt
I am planning to bring my Mom here in February and i hope they issue this super visa before that, Fingers crossed
We are a family of 2 - my husband and I. My mother (belongs to India) has visitor visa that expires May 2022. She is arriving Canada in October - will be her first visit.
Question:
1. Should I apply for extension or super visa? When would be best time to apply as soon as she arrives or I should wait for 2-3 months after she arrives here.
2. What minimum income is required?
3. Is it compulsory for her to have health insurance - for this visit Oct 2021?

I submitted my parents supervisa on 10th Feb,2021, but no update since biometrics on 5th Aug.
So, I've finally re-applied again on 10th Oct through new portal. This is really very confusing at the moment. Though the Supervisa applications should be considered as immediate family members re-unite, but still there is a long pending pile of Supervisa files too.

Supervisa can also apply for grandparents who are actually extended family members. Therefore, IRCC can't automatically assume whether the super visa applicant is a parent or grand parent.
