I am canadian citizen and want my parents to visit from India for 3 months. Do I have to apply Super Visa or is there any other category (just tourist) visa.

It's either supervisa or tourist visa. You shouldn't be worried about supervisa just because it requires medical insurance. Even with the tourist visa, you should buy medical insurance because if your parents get into an accident or become seriously ill, you're going to be paying tens of thousands of dollars for their medical care.
