Hi,

Can I cancel the insurance bought for my parents for issuance of SUPER VISA as they are not travelling anytime soon, after SUPER VISA has been issued?

Please advise. Is there any negative effect on issued VISA?

Cheers
Sambro

Insurance provider will cancel it. Confirmed.

My concern is will there be a -ve impact on the already issued SUPER VISA from immigration perspective?

Cancelling your insurance will have no impact on the visa that is already issued. However, when you parents do eventually decide to visit Canada, they may be asked to provide proof of insurance at their Port of Entry. As a result, you will have to purchase a new policy in advance of their travel date.
