I am looking for file for super visa insurance for my parents soon. So far, I have received range of quotes from various carriers and trying to contemplate which one to pick. Im not only looking at affordability but one that actually delivers on promise if needed. Can you please share what insurance you bought and any positive/negative experience with claims? Appreciate in advance for your inputs.

Think the question is really about ease of use, whether there are upfront payments, coordination between hospitals in Canada and the insurance companies, how difficult is it to get things covered, etc.

If you are in their shoes, how do you know about these things: ease of use, whether there are upfront payments, coordination between hospitals in Canada and the insurance companies, how difficult is it to get things covered, etc.? Would the insurance companies answers hypothetical questions in detail?

But like I said before, times are different now. You can choose one from your country as long as it meet certain requirements. And this one is quite recently.

Do you realized that now people have the option to buy super visa insurance policies from a foreign insurance company? The experience of make claims in Canada and the rest of the world might or might not be the same.

And if you still don't get it, I told the poster that times are different now and they can get one in their home country too. Also aj asked vp which company they selected which probably was couple years ago.

That doesn’t change the fact that they are asking for experience with existing supervisa providers. They are looking for people who've had good/bad experiences dealing with the provider it doesn’t matter that they can now purchase insurance from providers outside of Canada. At the moment that is likely a riskier option without hearing about experience using these policies.

Can you share your experience? Good or bad with dealing with a provider? If not, they can now purchase from providers outside of Canada, too.
Btw, why is it likely a riskier option without hearing about experience using these policies at the moment? Do you not use brand new products / services or until you saw the reviews?
