Super Visa for Parents!

Hi,

Can someone help clarify how much proof of financial support is required to be shown by parents while filing the application?

Please note that as per the document checklist for super visa(IMM 5484e),we need to show financial support over and above the LICO evidence

When calculating the size of the family unit, you should include yourself, your spouse (if applicable), your children (if applicable), any other dependents already in Canada (e.g. parents) and the individuals you wish to invite using the Super Visa.

It depends upon the number of family members
suppose you are a family of four in canada and you want to sponsor your parents

then LICO requirment should be for six persons
you can match the income requirments from the lico Table

However the form IMM5275E asks specifically for 'Funds available for stay' and again the checklist IMM5484E indicates proof for financial support over and above the LICO proof

Can someone help clarify?Does this mean parents also need to show proof of funds in their bank account and if yes,how much?

Is like to know the answer to this question too. Do parents need to bring a bank statement? How much is enough if they're staying 2 years with us?
