Hello everyone,
My mom is on Super visa in Canada and it will be 2 years since she arrived in 6 months, so she needs to apply for extension.
I am pregnant and will be giving birth also in 6 month. Is it a valid reason for extension of the super visa for mom and would they extend it for 2 more years?

Hi
If her status expires in 6 months, it is far too early to be applying for an extension. Wait until around a month before her current status expires.
Unfortunately a pregnant family member is not a strong reason for an extension especially if you mother has already been in Canada for 2 years it is pretty unlikely he will be granted another 2 year visa. She may get a few months extension. You won't know until you apply.

IMO pregnancy as a reason might have a negative impact. Since if your mother wasn't here you probably might hire help so indirectly she is taking away a job and could be considered as working.
Hi Elena , did she got 2 years , entry date when she came in Canada. or there was no entry (date to leave) on passport.
Pls help. as my parents came here second time, 5 months before but officer didnt put any (date to leave) stamp or written date. so my question is do i need to extend their stay?
If a TRV and no date it is 6 months. If it is a supervisa and no date it means 2 years.
