I would try posting your question to the Visitors section of this forum. There are several threads there where super visas are being discussed by people who have applied or will be applying.
scylla's advice is correct. You should have posted the question in VISITOS section. You did not get an answer to your previous post because you posted the topic in wrong section (family class sponsorship).
However, not to disappoint you, my suggestion is that you can show any amount in the application Form IMM 5257 against Funds, if you have some bank deposits.
The Visa office is not so particular about the minimum required amount because CIC did not specify it.
The Super Visa guide says
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/visit/supervisa-how.asp
: to provide a letter of invitation from your child or grandchild that includes arrangements for care and support and indicates the number of people residing in their household in Canada (mandatory);
Proof from your child or grandchild that he or she meets the Low Income Cut-Off (LICO); and
Proof that you have private medical insurance valid for a minimum of one year from a Canadian insurance company and that:
Covers health care, hospitalization and repatriation;
Provides a minimum coverage of $100,000; and
is valid for each entry to Canada and available for review by a port of entry officer.
In that case, your child or grand child will take care of you while in Canada. Still, you can even show any funds available with you. Please also be noted that IMM 5257 is a common application for all kind of temporary visitors and not only for Super Visa. That is why the question of funds exists in page 2.
