Hi friends, im just wondering for supervisa is it ok to put that I want to invite my parent for only a month, but I want to do the supervise route or will it be questionable??

What is the minimum stay that should be written in the invitation letter? I plan to re apply for supervise, but I want my parent to stay just a month will I be rejected should I really indicate 7 months?

I got the "Application/Profile updated" this morning, then it went back to "submitted". Hopefully it is a positive Ghost Update and not a refusal... finger crossed!

Upfront Medical sent through weform on 1st of November.
6 days ago I received an email from an IRCC agent,
stating that they received the medical and they sent it to the correct visa office (Ankara).
Yesterday first ghost update and today second one together with medical passed!

Hi I have been a silent member on this thread.
I applied for my parents’ super visa from India.
Their tourist visa was rejected last year in November due reasons like family ties back home and financial situation.
My lawyer recommended me to get a letter of support from the local MP to strengthen their application.
I purchased their insurance with 100k coverage on monthly payment plan.
Their super visa timeline:
Application submitted: 12th Jan 2023
Biometrics: submitted in 2021 when I initially applied for tourist visa
Medical request: 25th Jan 2023
Medical submitted: 27th Jan 2023
Medical updated and passed for one parent: 1st Feb 2023
Medical updated and passed for second parent: 6th Feb 2023
BVL and PPR: 17th Feb 2023

Did you submitted the letter from your Local MP? How did you acquire it? Like visiting the office or emailing them?

What other documents did you submit, as their visa got refused earlier?

I emailed the MP’s office they were pretty fast in getting back to me.

I attached my tax returns from last 3 years, my pay stubs for last 1 year, letter of employment, insurance for my parents, their funds, invitation letter stating that I will look after their expenses and my bank statements, and the MP’s letter.
If you are planning to apply now, I would recommend submit the medical with the application, it will speed up things.

Its there own format. I didn’t give them any format, I just had to share my pare t’s details for them to prepare the letter. I am guessing every MP would have a different way to issue a letter.

Documents I applied with

1. Invitation letter (Purpose- Family reunion and summer vacation in Canada)
2. One-way itinerary
3. My employment letter
4. This and last year's Tax returns
5. One year paid up travel insurance
6. My parent's marriage cert
7. Self-affidavit(a simple letter) saying I'll bear all the travel expenses and statement showing 10000CAD

Jan 16- Feb 16, one month is the turnaround time for this application.. All the very best for the rest of the applicants

Jan 15: Application submitted
Jan 15: Biometrics update in IRCC portal
Jan 18: Medicals passed
Jan 19: Request for additional documents
Jan 23: Additional documents uploaded
Jan 25: Documents received confirmation
Jan 25: Original passport request

Biometrics used from earlier visa application and medicals done upfront. Parents have US visitor visa and Canadian visitor visa for reference.

I used secure travel. https://www.secure-travel.ca/
There are dozens of companies out there. Premium depends on the age of the parent and deductible you are going to select for the policy.

Just Wanted some information regarding funds for supervisa for my parents.

Me and my spouse has minimum guarantee gross income and sufficient funds to show in Canada for parents supervisa.
Do we need to also show balance in my parents account backhome?
