Hi everyone. I applied for my mother’s super visa on January 23 and received a request for biometrics two days later. She got them done on January 30th. When I log in to her account, I can see the box at the bottom titled “Applicant Information” and it lists the biometrics number and the date it was done. However, under “ Biometrics” it states the following message: We have not received your fingerprints. Check your biometrics request message below for details.
does anyone else have this?Is this a technical issue?
I have similar scenario. I had submitted an application in September 17th through other planform. For that application we have completed both medical and biometric but never got a decision. Then on January 17th I created another application on Portal. The biometrics results were automatically ported on the application but they again asked for medical. When I went to the panel physicians they said that they cannot do another medical. They send a request for merger of two medical requests. I also raised a webform 4 weeks earlier. But no response since then. The current status reads that Medical Results has not been received. Not sure what is happening. Can't get through their call center.
I applied for my Mother's Super Visa on 19-Mar-2022. Biometrics that were given during her Visitor Visa (TRV) application in Dec-2021 got linked automatically based on the UCI. Medical tests were done upfront and I provided the UMI while filling the form.
applied via portal or gc key method?
in gc key method it is the grand child or child applying
and in portal, the grandparent is the one applying
correct?
Yes she can travel to Canada with her valid visitor visa but if her super visa is granted while she’s in Canada, she has to send her passport back to VFS Vietnam to stamp.
Thanks you
Yes GCKey means old portal ,
And same thing I was mentioning to group members It does not matter , Whether you are applying via Old or new portal
If your Documents and forms are complete you will get it in same pace , new or old portal does not matter
Yes ,in GC method option says Child/GrandChild . (As Super Visa main purpose is only to Invite Parents or Grand Parents)
I don't know about New Portal as I did not used it , But I am sure there also it should be both , No reason why option is only to select Grand Parent
Can you share the Exact text what it is saying
Thanks
You need to always provide latest NOA ,
Ex: you are submitting application in 2022 (in case your already filed Tax with CRA) , You must submit Latest NOA
