Medical Passed: March 29, 2021
Long silence.....
Reapplied on new IRCC portal with old medical: October 23, 2021
November 5, 2021: Received correspondence on whether she wants to travel before her medical expiry date. Replied yes.
BVL and PPR: November 11, 2021
Visa office: Singapore
Country: Bangladesh

I only showed my funds, NOA, payslips and employment letter for income. No other documentation from mother except the basics and a purpose of travel letter mentioning family ties at home.

The gckey application was withdrawn automatically.

Congrats. Gives some hope that the new portal could expedite existing applications to some extent!!!

Has anyone encountered a situation where medicals say "We are reviewing your medical results" while medicals were never submitted?

Answering my own question. After exactly 24 hours of changing status to we are reviewing medical results, the request for the medical exam was received.

Reapplied on October 31st 2021 using the same gckey portal but this time for a Supervisa. BVL and PPR received today November 11th. No request for medical. Anyone got PPR for supervisa without medical?

I have submitted my parents supervisa below the timeline
First application submitted July 26 2021
Biometric done at the time of visitor visa in 2019.
second application done via gckey September 26 2021.
Upfront medical done July 2021.
November 3rd 2021 got medical passed and bvl after that nothing.
