I heard they have closed new IRCC portal because of backlog. Hopefully, they will process faster now.

I applied through new portal as well! They might have closed it because of the backlog so they can process existing files. And I am not sure if they really stopped it for sometimes or not, I heard it from a known immigration consultant.

The new portal is working fine. I applied for Supervisa on November 17 and received a Medial request on Nov 29 (today).

The portal is working and I know people who applied just today as well. Portal usually remains close during weekends for some unknown reason. During the week days, it's working and accepting new application.

Applied on Sept 28th. Medical Passed on Nov 23rd (medical submitted upfront) . no update after.

Applied for in laws on September 19 .. Medical request came in two weeks.. Medical passed November 16 and correspondence received on November 23. Nothing after that so far..

Yes, there are people waiting for PPR after medicals are passed nearby your timeline. I guess they will release PPR batches on Dec 2 and Dec 5th but let's hope it comes sooner.

Where did you get this news? I see an updated IRCC portal now which allows you to download citizenship certificate.
