My wife's current status is "implied status". Her previous work permit expired. I didn't try to call them.

If it's passed the processing time, you should send them a web form.

I submitted mine June 8th. Sent webform and asked help from the MP too. Still no updates.

From my experience....if PR application goes in security screening - the longer one, then BOWP or WP extension can get delayed. No time frame.

From my experience....if PR application goes in security screening - the longer one, then BOWP or WP extension can get delayed. No time frame.

You can continue to work same as before while your extension in being processed (implied status).
I had to take private medical insurance too as a precaution, as my WP extension took several months.
