i'm in canada and i'm on LMIA base work permit. and my wife is on her PGWP. i applied for SOWP .
i submit my file on JAN-03 2020
biometric done JAN-06
NO UPDATE YET
they moved my file to CPC EDMONTON for further processing. my work permit going to expire in september. i called ircc they said we did not check your eligibility yet we are processing your background check.

I have applied for LMIA exempt wp extension today. Biometrics is up-to-date. Applying inside Canada.
I will keep you posted about my total processing time.
For those wondering about GCMS or any other query services efficiency, I would say don't do that. They can give you information after you receive your WP. Waste of money. Don't do that. You just have to wait.
