Sowp extension. I want to apply for a TRV now. They say you can use a screenshot of your approval.

Did you receive an email on 2nd Nov (Tuesday) from IRCC with subject line "We're still working on your application (application number)" for your WP extension application?

I received it for my WP extension application. A lot of other folks confirmed that they received the same email for their PR, WP or TRV applications.

No I didn’t not receive any email from them. I wasn’t expecting to be approved yesterday as I had checked on the status of my application in the afternoon and nothing had been updated.

Around what time did you see the approval on your account?

I checked at around 7pm. Prior to that I had checked around 3pm with no updates.

I thought we get email for any update in the account, but I guess there a possibility that one might not get the email update. Now, I will login and check once or twice a day.

I applied through consultant, He gave me update about application approval... and I got hard copy on 4 to 5 days...

What kind of Work permit did you apply for? Closed Work permit (employer specific) with LIMA, Spousal Open Work permit or Post Graduate Work permit?

Also, do you remember the approx date when your WP got approved?

Applied on 1st October. The processing time shows as 93 days for inland extension requests.
