Hi to all,
I have a valid closed WP until Dec 10, 2022, but recently I have submitted a new LMIA closed WP application with the new employer. I already started to work for a new employer as I received permission from IRCC to change the jobs under covid policy. How long it will take to get the new WP approved in my case? Currently, the website is saying 66 days for inlands, however as I see here it may take up to one year?!

Just to give you an idea, i have submitted my WP extension application on 27th Oct,2020 and there is no update till date. Even GCMS notes doesn’t reveal anything. There is no timeline and the website timelines are not accurate.

That sounds very strange as I got approved my first WP application outside Canada in 25 days. What are the reasons to process inland WP applications so long - I don't understand, especially when website is saying the following:
We're currently prioritizing applications from: Asylum claimants, and Clients who are eligible to work while we process their application: to change jobs or employers, to restore their employer-specific work permit, or for a work permit as a visitor.

That’s the worst part! We should be given priority as we are inland applicants but i dunno what SOP they are following!!

I submitted on oct 7 and got approved on Feb 25. May we both were assigned to the same officer. If that's ture , u cud expect it in next week or 2
