Ok so I received my CAIPS notes today. I am having trouble in understanding some immigration jargon. Am hoping to hear from the CAIPS champions on this.
What does the following sentence mean
' PAPER FILE SENT TO PPS FILE BFD TO : PD ON 03- 10- 2009.
Is this when I will receive my medicals? What does it mean and what implications does it have?
Another query- the immigrant assesment record at present does not show how many points I get? It still reads '0' in expereince, education, language, adaptability, spouse education, total funds and family relation. Is this normal?
thanks gino!! thats positve news. I applied through Simplified application process where we only submit the one form. So am not sure how applicable the paper screening is. I think they will probably ask us to send the updated docs before the 03/10/09 so that they are ready for reviewing. What do you say?
Gino I also noticed that my CAIPS notes has IMM 1017S: 23/01/07. I think the 'S' maybe for the simplified process. And this date corresponds to the day they began processing my application.
