Also PEI, which I believe is currently open.

One thing that beginners tend to commonly miss out is to make sure that they meet both EE as well as PNP requirements
Hi joelmath,

Thank you for this great thread. Could you or anybody tell me what is meant with Express Entry requirements, perhaps the minimum score of round of invitation? Or does it mean that you are eligible for Express Entry?

Hey JoelMath

Thank you for posting this! It's very helpful.

I have tried to match us up, but am struggling (silly me).

I am hoping to study in BC a Masters or a Diploma (I already have a degree from a London uni). My boyfriend is an electrician by trade and will be coming with me. he has 4 years experience as an electrician, a Level 2 Apprenticeship qualification (this is only 2 years study) and a 1 and a half year experience as an alarms technician (a different NOC to electrician). Also, on the 'Find your NOC' page on the CIC website, it has a list of qualification requirements. Does he need to have the whole list? OR is it just maybe one. He is going to do his Red Seal when we get there hopefully off of his own back.

What do you think?

He will get a job when we land in BC, however I am worried. Our goal is to apply for residency through him. Does he actually fit into any of the BC brackets?

Sorry to be a pain and hope to hear from you, x
:(

Have you actually read the first post in this thread ?

No, he doesn't qualify for BCPNP.

Hi, did someone knew if it is possible for a person who has a working permit now to apply a tourist visa?. My brother is recently working in the fish plant and has his working permit expire on December 31,2016. They said it is only 180days of work. Meaning if you work everyday in the week, the 180days won't lead to Dec.31, as he arrived in May 26. While waiting for Lmia, I just want him to wait for it and just apply a tourist visa for him to have a legal status in Canada. As they said they can't apply for restoration. Is any one know about this program and what is the best thing to do. Thank you and have a great one everyone.

By "ECA point 135", I assume you mean that you have a Master's degree ?
I also assume that you have no Canadian work experience ?

Did you score CLB 7 in each of the language areas (reading, writing, listening, speaking) ? Or did you score CLB 7 overall ?
Because the scores for each language area are calculated separately.

Assuming that you have a Master's, no Canadian work experience, and you scored CLB 7 in each of the language areas, I calculate your CRS at 307.
