Hello chance0000,
you can still try and apply for PEI PNP. Nova Scotia is also an option if you can attend one of their briefing sessions (if applicable).

Dear Nehusharma,
tourist visa profiles are scanned completely then a EE profile. if you want to apply for Candian immigration via EE, then first get your education validated by WES. Then take up the IELTS and get a good score. You should be good to go from here.

Hello Ashish,
PEI on their website says it takes upt 6 months to process your application. However, you will need to note that there is no set time frame for a province to process your application. It depends on a lot of factors.
the best suggestion for you is to wait for a month or so as they also say on their website to contact them after 6 months of applying if you have not recieved any reply.
Nishant.
Thanks Nishant, can you provide the link where it is said that it would take around 6 months as I am unable to find it.
Regards

Hello Ashish,
apologies. i guess i was in a hurry when i read the site initially. They say you can contact them after 60 days for enquiries. also, they say they generally reply within 3 months.

Hi Nishant
One more question. Any Idea how the applications are selected for nominations. Does CRS play any role in selection.

Hello Ashish,
i guess yes. Like all members, even i am learning so apologies if im unable to answer all questions or get some of my answers wrong. If you go thru the link i gave, they mention FSW or FST being one of the eligibility criteria. As far as i can deduce, fsw would mean your crs would be counted and come into picture.
However, the province also would evaluate your keenness to live and work if nominated. This is a big factor infact.

Hello,
If you are able to validate and verify your education (throgh WES) and job (through your HR), no one would mind the irrelevance of your work to education. however, if your area of experinece is very common, you might have a problem as you might not get a good job offer or a nomination.
for the rest, use the links on the other forums to calculate your EE and crs scores.

by HR i meant the human resource team of your company. you need to get a experience letter which lists your roles and responsibilities. you will need to use this to find your NOC code for applying.
i suggest you take time and go thru this whole topic. though its long, you will find answers to almost all your questions.
