Hey, Thanks for the reply. I got my degrees' WES done. For my bachelor's degree : They wrote: "Country: India
Credential: Bachelor of Arts
Year: 2009
Awarded by: University of Delhi
Institution Status: Recognized
Major/Specialization: English
Canadian Equivalency: Bachelor's degree (three years)"
For NOC 2171, on CIC website, it says: "A bachelor's degree in computer science, computer systems engineering, software engineering, business administration or a related discipline
or
Completion of a college program in computer science is usually required."
and for NOC 2173, on CIC website, it says: "A bachelor's degree, usually in computer science, computer systems engineering, software engineering or mathematics
or
Completion of a college program in computer science is usually required.
A master's or doctoral degree in a related discipline may be required."
I have completed my BA Eng Hons and MCA. Please suggest what to do.
No, I am not from TCS.
Thanks.

I gave both my Eng Hons degree and MCA degree. And I am planning to apply for 2171 NOC code where as masters they are accepting under 2173 code and in SINP, 2173 NOC code is not under Occupations In Demand list.
i am planning for writing EOI to PEI
below is the process
"Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program (PEI PNP)
Prince Edward Island has a dedicated stream for Express Entry nominations : PEI PNP Express Entry Stream
Eligibility criteria for PEI express entry stream is the simplest of all EE PNP streams. If you are eligible for one of the Express Entry programs and have active EE profile and job seeker validation code, you simply need to complete the “Express Entry Expression of Interest” form below and email it to
[email protected].
Link to PEI “Express Entry Expression of Interest” form http://www.gov.pe.ca/forms/pdf/2889.pdf
Once you have submitted the EOI form, PEI PNP will contact you with further instructions if they are interested in your profile."
Could any expert please advice me what all should i write in EOI in the PDF??
please let me know in detail

hi,
I am a newbie and looking to apply for Ontario Express Entry.
Below are my details
1. More than 9 years of IT experience, all outside Canada. 5 years of experience in USA, but I don't think it matters for Canada.
2. Bachelors from Indian college.
3. IELTS score 7,7,7.5,7
4. Age 33 years.
5. Spouse degree - masters from India with no work experience in Canada.
6. Spouse IELTS 6.5, 7, 6.5, 8
My CRS score is coming to 353. I think this is very low compared to what I am seeing in this forum.
1. I don't have any offer in hand from any Canadian firm. Please let me know what are the ways to increase my CRS score?
2. Can I utilize my US experience in anyways possible?
3. I am only targeting ON. Should I look for any other province where there are good prospects for IT jobs?
Will appreciate any help on these folks.
Thanks in advance.

Strongly recommend you to retake IELTS and score CLB 9 equivalent scores i.e. L 8, R 7, R 7, S 7
This will fetch you score above 400 CRS points which is required to receive PT NOI from Ontario.

Is 400 sufficient, or just a min (unsaid) criterion?
Also, considering that I have worked in US, will it by any means help"?
