Depends a lot of what documents you had to submit and what still needed to be evaluated.

Yes thats true. Mine just take 3 months and my PR came out.

The officer made the decision on October, but we received a letter for interview with CBSA on January 10th. So we applied for JR after.

CBSA isn’t related to the H&C application which is processed by IRCC. When were you notified about the outcome of the H&C? That would have been a different letter or maybe you received communication through your lawyer.

Any news from the new officer? Mine takes like 6 months for a response after returning the application and plus additional documents. I submitted my medical last Dec. plus police clearances.

Unless the judgement indicates you can add updated information you can’t add anything else. Your original H&C gets reviewed again as is.
