Sorry, forgot to update you guys about it earlier.
I got my passports back on Tuesday evening.
Put in my papers today.
Most probably booking my tickets to fly tomorrow or next week.

I submitted my passports at Hyderabad VFS office on 8th September. Status in myCIC changed to Approved long back. Still did not receive the stamped passports back. Tracker still shows 'Visa application is being processed at Canada Visa Office,New Delhi'
I am really worried now. Hope nothing goes wrong at this stage and I get my stamped passports back soon.

My advice? Time to call VFS and shout at them a bit. That's what I did, my case was as slow as yours, and yet I was able to get my passport within days of shouting at the VFS dude.
I tried PMing you, but your inbox is full. If you can delete some messages and then message me, I can explain what I did in depth.
Hi guys, i would be submitting my passport next week at NDVO...wanted to know frm.people who have already got the visa stamped, that how long is the validity which is mentioned in your stamped visa?

Then how do we get the visa renewed or get the PR card? As my meds expire in feb and i will travel once in dec amd then come back to India to wind things up before going again...so post first landing if my second is post feb then how does it work

Once you land, you can put the PR card process in motion.
Give an address to the CIC and they will mail the PR card to that address. Getting a PR card can take from 30 to 90 days depending on the province.
Ideally you are not supposed to travel out of the country during that period.
Alternatively, if u have someone close to you residing in Canada, u can ask them to mail the card to you via courier. But some of the people on this forum have said that it's illegal to do so.
Your best bet is to land in Dec and wait till you get the PR card delivered to you before you travel back to India.
