Is it possible to once an application has been submitted, to send additional evidence of our relationship?
In our case, we'll have two wedding receptions: one in Canada (very soon) with the family of my spouse and another one in my country of origin with my family.
I want to submit our application before the 2nd reception, so the original package may only include photos of the first reception and I would like to later send photos and evidence from the second reception.
Thoughts?
(Reason why we have two receptions, in case you ask, is because my family (specially my mother which would be for me the most important family member besides my spouse) cannot travel due to health reasons.
I submitted extra documents/proof after the application arrived at the VO. I have read a few other posts of people on the forum doing that too. I don't see it as a problem. It saves having to be asked for it later on.
I understand the two receptions, I am sure others do as well. I had a small gathering with my husbands family as mine could not attend(work issues/cost to fly to Egypt). We plan to have a reception in Canada once he gets here too. I think in most cases its pretty common.
