Is there is still strike at Canadian high commission

Hey guys, plz help me
I got acceptance letter form Concordia uni,, applied for caq on 4 July, finicial processing is going on.
I came to knw that because of strike, students are not getting visa.
I m thinking to defer my appliatiom to jan2013 ... Would it good or I should wait for caq apply visa for sept2013 intake only.

You just wait ... strike doesn't have big impact on issuing the visa in India ....

Rooting for UG course for Sheridan College of Toronto,Canada.Have applied for student visa on 11 july from Chandigarh consulate under general category.Some of the candidates applying for the visa after my applying date have got their visa.Replies would be welcomed.Also,there are rumors circulating that consulate is giving preference to universities based student application.

Not yet bro..

There was some issue with the medicals. Just waiting for everything to get sorted out.

Hope to get the visa on Monday.

Any one got any visa refusal or grant...in general category of study visa...i hv submitted my file on 22/july nd its reached chd on 23/july/2013...
Still its under processing....
Do they will respond me before my intake start on 3/sept/2013
I m very depressed....
Plzz help me guys...
