Asking for a friend , who change status to visitor due to personal issues and wish to continue her studies this fall and wants to apply for study permit before her visitors record expires in June. Please advise the steps she should take

Asking for a friend , who change status to visitor due to personal issues and wish to continue her studies this fall and wants to apply for study permit before her visitors record expires in June. Please advise the steps she should take

She needs to get a LOA from the school and apply for a study permit like everyone else. She should also be apply for a visitor status.

So can she extend her visitors record since it will expire This month and apply for the study permit at the same time
