I gained an admission into MA program in a University in Canada. Before the admission, I had already started PhD program (in second semester of 3-year program) in Thailand, but I prefer to go for the MA program in Canada. I am currently not in my home country Ghana. I am planning to submit an application for study permit online but the query is requesting me to state my current country of residence and my status. Now, should I go ahead and tell them I am a student? What will be the likely implications? In fact, I am afraid that I may not get the student permit if they realized am already on PhD program. Please, I will cherish your advice in this case.

Thank you

You have a masters already ?
If yes , you can't go again for MA .
