My study permit has been approved, but I received the Letter of Introduction with recommended validity until exactly the last day of my study without even one day extra. When I contacted the embassy, they told me once the application is closed, they can't change anything whatsoever, but I may extend if I want (why extend when I could have had the full duration in the first place?) Have anyone experienced a similar problem? I read on the CIC website that the additional 90 days are added to the full duration, so I don't know what the problem is.
My passport is valid one year after my study ends.
