I’m a international student and I was on academic suspension because some medical illness and just had a gap semester (Sep-Dec 2018). I applied for a new school and got admitted starting from the spring semester (Jan 2019), to complete 30 credits and then I will apply for re-admission. But was my study permit already been expired?
Because in normal circumstances when students are planning to transfer institutions, I will only need to change he school DLI number online without being required to apply for a new study permit. As long as my study permit is still valid.
However I am worried that my SP has already been expired and my change of DLI is also invalid and i will not be able to return to Canada.
Please help me for this situation, I greatly appreciate it.
If not, would it be possible to first enter Canada and then apply for new study permit without being forced fly home??
