Hi guys,
So i'm currently a student at uOttawa and I'll probably need to extend my study permit for another year to complete my Bsc. The only glitch is that currently I live on the quebec side of Ottawa, do you think that would affect my visa renewal? I study in Ontario, work in Ontario but live in quebec.

Ottawa is at least a 3 hours drive from Quebec. So you go to Ottawa everyday to study and return to Quebec afterwards?
There is no Quebec side of Ottawa. Ottawa is firmly in Ontario and considered a city in Ontario. However, if you can explain it, there shouldn't be a problem with getting visa.

1. The OP is referring to the Province, not Quebec city, The province of Quebec, is about a 5 minute drive over bridges from Ottawa.
2. The OP won't have a problem as s/he is attending the U of Ottawa and doesn't require a CAQ to renew the study permit.
Good day. I just have a question regarding student permit extension. As my SP will be expiring this Apr 2020, and I am planning to apply for the renewal of the SP this month (Dec 2019). Would there be any problem for the early application?

Thanks for the response. School documents that I will include are Diploma and TOR for my previous program then LOA for my new program and payment receipt for the 1st sem of the new program. Is this enough for the school documents.

Yes unless some sort of proof of registration for next course is possible. I would wait until you can include this semester’s transcripts and have exam marks.
