We modified the SoP slightly. We didn't change the course, added points to show how the course is relevant to her prior work experience.
In addition to this we added a Letter of Explanation, providing justifications for the points mentioned in the CAIPS note

My wife also got the refusal with the same reason : "Not satisfied that applicant is a bona fide intending student."
She has a Bachelor's in Engineering and worked with a leading bank in India for 3 years.
We applied for a Post Graduate Diploma 2 year program in Business from Cape Breton University
We have requested for CAIPS note with interpretation and hopefully will get to know more about the actual reason.
I suggest to do the same before re-applying. As far as our case is concerned i hope it has to do with Family Ties.
How to get help through caip notes?
For masters degree admissions in Canada Universities, is it mandatory to qualify bachelors in 70%? What if I have lower scores in Bachelors and high score in PG Diploma? Will it be accepted even if I have low in Bachelors?
