Hi Everyone,
I am offered admission in Canada for PhD and need to apply for Study permit. I will be getting married after approx two months. Now when I want to apply for study permit, shall I mention my status as "Single" or wait till I get married and then apply for study permit? As I also want my spouse to join me. What will be the easy procedure?Kindly guide.
when are you to begin school if september 2018 its better you start applying now cus the process is not really sure u need to prepare ur self .and being married will not affect your study permit application .

Going for September intake, Single, getting married in two months time, and applying for a study permit before September are quite close
stating you are single now and in next two months you stated married when trying to apply for a Visa for your spouse, it will obviously sell a different views on the VO's perceptive
why don't you speeding the wedding process and apply under a single status of been married than later trying to convince the VOs with lots of explanations and paper documents that your true intention is to study and not for immigration purposes.
It's always advisable not to complicate things for yourself.. THINK!
