hi ..
I hope this message finds everyone well
Could anyone have any information about this or anyone has similar case may share vies ----
I am an indian citizen currently applied from India for the Canada study permit online in SDS category-- however i am planning to join my husband who is in US on L1 visa (i owe valid L2 US visa) as we hear the Fall classes become online --my AIP is awaited (Stage 1 for study permit as per new 2 stage policy)
I would like to know -
1. Once my Stage 1 AIP is approved , can i get the stage 2 - biometric and visa stamping done from USA as the VFS centers are currently closed in India and my travel is important for USA at this stage
2. If point 1 is yes, do i need to contact and update IRCC (via web form) as current address mentioned in my application is india address and in USA for passport stamping address update might be required)
3. If point 1&2 are cleared, can i travel from US to canada directly for studies
It is not true that visa process has something to do with the travel restrictions. To have ur visa processed & made decision, Consulate General of Canada or CCP Ottawa are in charge of this, but to stamp the visa, VACs' people are responsible for this. As always, receiving a passport request letter will require u to send original passport + other documents to nearest VAC center within 30 days. VAC Vfs global is a private company that has contract with CIC so lets hope that they reopen soon so all of you get the visa stamped.
Hi everyone! I have a quick question. For those of us who are are using the OPT unemployment period to stay in the US, did you send a web form to IRCC to update them about this change of status when you received your OPT approval? Thank you!
I think u should send a new LOA through webform. With the case got rejected today despite of having AIP, I think it is necessary to update the new LOA if u have one.

I saw it first in the morning today. It hurts for him because he has been waiting for decision since March, but I can see that IRCC releases decisions during Sept. Up until now (from I heard from Whatsapp), there have been 3 cases with rejection after getting AIP. For whatever reason, I think we should be patient & ready for any situations to receive the decisions in the coming weeks or so in Sept.

The first one is from Pakistan. The third as I remember correctly it is from India. I actually do not remember the second case as I saw it I did not dare to look at the info just to clear my mind. They were all complete apps.
