Study permit, marriage and spouse visa.

I am an international student currently studying in Canada for last 6 months. So i am in study permit here. Now I am planning to get married to my fiance back in my country. I want to know now that if I get married now do i tell the Canada high commission regarding my status and how? Can my newly married spouse join me here in Canada? Will he get work permit?

Nope, they don't care if you marry a non-Canadian/PR. He will have to apply for a TRV (visitor visa) and show proof that he is married to you and that you are a student in Canada. There is no guarantee that a visa will be issued. He will only get a work permit if you are attending a school that meets the following conditions

Your spouse or common-law partner may apply for a work permit if:

* you are a full-time student at:
o a public post-secondary institution, such as a college or university or collège d’enseignement général et professionnel (CEGEP) in Quebec
o a private post-secondary institution that operates under the same rules and regulations as a public institution, and receives at least 50 percent of its financing for its overall operations from government grants (currently, only private college-level educational institutions in Quebec qualify) or
o a Canadian private institution authorized by provincial statute to confer degrees
