Yes, it is okay. I applied from Jamaica in March 2022 with one year of proof of school fee + 10k for living costs for the year and my visa was approved on May 2022. My program is a 2year program as well.
I used bank statements and bank certificates which I got from my bank. It has to be official copies. Also tuition payment recent and a letter from my sponsors.
Most persons I know have either paid the required tuition deposit as an Intl student; 2 recently and they were accepted, or by the semester. I paid the deposit of $2,500CAD along with $500CAD deposit for housing on campus. I sent them proof of these payments also from my student account, and still waiting.
