My concern is that, shall I apply study permit application along with spouse's open work permit in single application? Or do I need to get my study permit first then apply for spouse's open work permit. Which is best option to process application with visa office?
My husband applied on 22 June after getting mine student visa but I am concerned about his visa.If I check some thing online it's written there that maximum chances of getting dependent visa is when student is in canada from last 6 months or more.
I am concerned about this thing if someone is having correct information about that please let me know.

I am the principal applicant for my student permit and my common law partner’s open work permit. I was the one who submit all our documents online on May 12. It’s for september intake.

Hi , we just applied on 20 th June and it is under process.I am quite worried about my husband's visa as it takes a lot time and if you check on you tube and all people are saying if spouse is staying in Canada for more than 6 months than there are good chances of getting visa.
I am just hoping for the best.I will let you know the update on his visa.If you have some information regarding this please share.

Hi,
Actually I checked the cic website, there is no such rule or any thing like that there are more chances after 5-6 months. We can add the spouse file together also and after the student visa came then also.
Just my agent told me that its better after getting student visa, you apply for spouse vistor visa only and after reaching over there then change the conditions of visitor to work visa. That is better and more chance to get visitor visa easy thedirect open work visa.
But again there is no such thing mentioned that you have to apply first visitor or work directly in cic website. Lets see how ut goes. And thank you for sharing.
