Study Permit - Financial Requirements

Hi

I want to apply for the study permit from Sri Lanka (I am a Sri Lankan Citizen). I am hoping to apply on the 16th of this month keeping like 6 weeks processing time.

Currently I have only about 10,000 CAD in my bank draft. Will it be enough to obtain my Study permit,

In the financial statements I included my Parents Bank statements for the period of four months and then I also included the statement of accounts from my dads business along with business registration and document outlining Employee trust fund etc.

Do I have meet the requirements to obtain the study permit ??

Pls help me out, I really want to go to Uni in september and obtain a degree.

i have read on this forum before .....in general amount to show is ur (fee for a year+ living expenses for a year) X 0.80. thats 80% of ur cost of education. Also it helps if u show some property or business that would help as well. U have to look at it this way...if ur a VO and ur looking at the documents submitted would u be convinced about ur ties to ur home country. Would u think as a candidate u would return back to ur country? sometimes u can show less amount in bank and have more property documents it all depends how good of a case u make. don't be discouraged if u have less in bank collect all ur documents and make a strong case.

So you think my bank balance isn't enough
Can u please tell me the order I need to arrange my Financial Documents pls.

For instance I am thinking of creating 3 folders.

Folder 1
-My Parents Bank Financial Statements for 4 months
-Assets - (Land and Housing)

Folder 2
-Company Statements of accounts
-Company Registration forms (Form 41. Form C, Article of Association)
-Employee List
-Employee Trust Fund Forms

Folder 3
-My Personal Account Bank Draft
-Visa Card Statement
-Other fixed assets available.

Will This be fine for the VISA?

i am sorry i dont know the best way to arrange the docs. just a question when u said bank statement are ur parents sponsoring u? if they r then their bank statement and urs together could be enough?
