Hi,
I'm sorry I wasn't able to check back to the forum ever since I replied to this thread.. I paid for a commitment fee with BCIT last December and received my acceptance letter last January..
Our visa applications were picked up about two days ago.. I'm in the waiting and anxiety part of everything.. This is the only thing that's keeping me from studying in Canada and I hope everything goes OK..
Thanks for your help..
- Ayns

Hi Ayns,
I just want to ask you if you have also paid for the TRV fee aside from the Student permit fee?
I saw that you are from PI.
Thanks
Hi,
TRV? Hm, we only enclosed the amont for the study permit and nothing more.. That was the only fee required and stated in their checklist..

The study permit fee covers the cost of the TRV if you require one.
Oh ok. Thanks for the information.

Thanks!

any news ayns? can you give us an update?
This just came to me yesterday. My parents called me and said that we received a letter from the embassy stating that my dad now has a multiple entry tourist visa for 3 years, and I am up for medical examinations.

Wish me luck!
ayns,
well, that's a good news! goodluck to you and don't worry you will get it....all of us are praying that we will all get it! do keep us updated.

App, what part of the country are you looking to attend school in? If you're thinking of the Vancouver area, I can tell you with confidence that $15,000 financial support amount for you and your spouse won't come even remotely close to being sufficient for this area. It might cover the cost of housing, but that would be about it.
I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the cost of living here is extremely expensive. I'm a student here myself.
I need a bit of suggestion.
I have already applied for PR at ND VO. I just want to know That How much it is chances to get funded place there for research. Do they preffer internatonal student for fundings. or I should batter to wait till PR and then get admission? Its taking long time to get PR so Cant afford it
I need a bit of suggestion
