Applied for study permit extension in February. Been almost 4 months that I have not heard back from IRCC yet. Should I be worried?
My Student visa and study permit have expired. Got a letter from Ircc saying I have implied status.
Anybody else in the same situation?
Thousands of people are in the same situation. You have implied status and can continue studying before you new SP arrives if necessary.

How did you apply?
Online or paper?
Hi, I have four year undergraduate degree in Business. I would like to do Advanced Accounting Diploma or Post graduate Diploma in Accounting in a community college in Canada. I wonder, will I get study permit from Canadian Embassy? I will also apply for my two kids and husband to accompany me? Is post graduate diploma a good option for me?

Nobody can say if you will get approved for a study permit. Your choice of program must make sense based on your previous work history and education and lead to career progression. It is impossible to say if your spouse and children will be approved to join you.
