Study Permit Extension Delay (September 2019)

Hi can anybody help me with knowing that if someone has applied after the expiry of study permit visa
Will that be an issue that I have not received any mails yet as i have applied on 4th oct
Many are getting it but i hvent still received it

Many get it because they had valid permits, since yours expired it may take longer process.
Did you forget to apply for extension?

Yes we have submitted both the fess. But just that i have applied on 4th Oct but we havent received any updates yet. Still waiting and most of them are receiving

Also did you choose "YES" for being overstayed beyond permit ?
Not sure which question it is, but will be in Background 2)
Make sure you do select yes every time, or else it may be considered misrepresentation.

Did your brother continued studying after the expiration of his study permit ? If yes that’s illegal and might delay your process further coz you have to wait until you hear a decision from Immigration

But if he has 90 day restoration period how is it overstaying ?

applied on 4oct. On 9jan in afternoon there was no update but in evening gckey account status changed to approved.didn’t got any message or email. Only approved shown in gckey
