I received my Invitation to Apply (ITA) on April 18, submitted my PR application on May 9. In the meantime, I got accepted to UBC and on May 8 I applied for Study Permit Extension. The reason I applied for Study Permit Extention is that my program starts in September 2017 and PR review may take up to 6 months. Therefore, my question is, can IRCC reject my Study Visa and grant me PR faster? Does the immigration team even factor such things into the PR application?
