study permit extension

Any one applied for study permit extension. please help me which documents are required for study permit extension and with how many days i get my study permit. my study permit will expired on 31-12-2017

I applied on October 20 and have still not received a response from IRC. My study permit expires on 31 Dec and I am going back home because my dad is not feeling my return flight is on January 10. The last time I applied it came in less than 2 months I don't why it is taking so long this time. my flight is non-refundable so I cant even cancel my flight even if I want to , it is gonna cost me a lot. i am so worried right now. please pray that I receive my extension by next week.

Extensions are taking 3-5 months. Plus with the mail strike, it will be difficult to get it stamped. Hopefully you will get it then but if not then you need to decide to stay or travel and then apply for TRV outside Canada. If you have valid TRV then no issue.
