Wow. Mine will be 6 months on the 30th of this month without a decision.

Anyone submitted a joint application (study and Sowp) in late June and has received a decision?

Yes, I also submitted my application in late June—both the SP and SOWP. However, there has been no decision yet, and there are no updates in my account. It has been more than six months. I called them, and they said to wait as they are processing applications in the order they were received.

Only few cases are shorter than 6 months. Most are over than 6 months and reviewed in the order. Hope you guys can get approval letter soon. Maybe before January 10th. Good luck!

I applied my SP extension(solo) on 4 th october, 2024..my visa and permit both expiring on 31 december,2024.
Still no update yet. Background still in progress and its been over 70 days now.. any idea when will i get approval? Shall i contact ircc ?

Did you have any updates? I applied on October 26th and received my BVL yesterday.

Solo applicant

Applied: 20th October 2024
BVL Correspondence: 19th December 2024
Approval: 28th December 2024

Question: Will I get a digital copy of the study permit before it is mailed to me? Asking this since I have to renew my SIN.

Hello everyone.
I applied for study and spouse extension on 10 july. When I applied, I uploaded my spouse pay stubs of Uber. Now, my husband got job in construction field. Do I need to submit new employment letter and pay stubs through web form. Is it mandatory for spouse to have full time job for open work permit extension?
