Study Permit Extension 2024

I applied on May 7th ON. I hope to receive ours soon as well.

I applied May 11th ON. I am sure we will get approval this week. Praying for it!

I applied may 4th sp, soup and vr. My study permit had been approved since August 21st but my husband open work permit extension and my child visitors record is not yet approved. My husband stopped working since last week, he need his work permit extension before he can continue working. I'm afraid because he is the only one working because I have a baby.

Applied on the 22nd of May 2024. SP extension , SOWP EXTENSION and 2 STUDY PERMIT FOR CHILDREN. Started my second program in September .Update for all family.....Eligibility review started today as well. hoping for the best . Ontario.

I have applied on 18 june 2024 solo study permit extension application. I have not received any decision yet. I got graduated in august and my study permit expired on 31st july 2024. I cannot able to work and I haven’t applied PGWP yet as I have heard on implied status that we cannot work until made a decision on pgwp. So what to do now?

I applied for my Study Permit Extension on Sept 12th. Got BVL on Nov 4th. While checking the applicant page today, it says "Your application was approved. Check your messages below for details." However, I did not receive any approval letter. Can anyone share based on your experience how many days or rather weeks would it take to receive the physical document? And should I wait for the physical document to apply for TRV? --- Ontario

It is so strange. Have you tried sending Web Forms or contacting your city MP? That might help. However, someone shared few days ago, that spouses can continue working even beyond the date mentioned in the letter he received. You can also try to get information from the International Advisor at your college/university.

some employers don't understand the fact that they can continue to work ; they rather work with date provided on the letter. That's the issue most people are facing when it goes beyond that date.

I’m also facing same problem sis I left my job almost in august due to this delay.i am still waiting for the decision and preparing for my ielts exam.i applied for sp extention on 3rd July .

Hi everyone. I received my study permit extension approval yesterday 8 pm est.
Applied: sep 11
BVL: nov 01
Approved/final decision: nov 05

Province: Ontario.

Yes, I messaged the MP near me and I was told to contact them again by December 5th if I haven't received any correspondence letter. Most employers are requesting for the work permit if the one in the extension letter expires.

Hi. None as of yet. Do they really process it in random order and not by the order the application was submitted? I understand that it is faster to process single application, but I do not know how they process family application since they were already processing the ones submitted at a later date than the others.
