Our application too had no update until I got an email for bvl.

This gives me hope. Did you get the approval before the date of your sowp issued in the letter issued by the IRCC?
I don’t know what will happen to my husband’s job if we don’t get the approval before Nov. 7.
If anyone is or went through the same situation, I will appreciate any info.

We are in the same boat, my husband's letter is until november 5th, we applied on may 9th in ontario, our immigration attorney told us that if he overstayed the date he could still continue working under the same conditions until the decision is made

you can work beyond the expiry date of the letter without issue
Since last week, they have been processing family applications super fast. it seems both of you will get within the next week

Is there anyone who applied on 20th August for SP extension? I got my correspondence letter on 11th October and the application was approved on 31st.

Fingers crossed! Because now I have to take the Ielts test to apply for PGWP.

Applied for PGWP October 29, 2024
BVL 30 for all applications
Approved Oct 31, 2024
Reach out to MP countless time, Completed study in August, Request Gcms note in October 2, out of a job for over a month now. Got a multiple job offer after that. I was so tired at that point.
SUBMIT PGWP application on Oct 29 ( because of the change in PGWP requirement that is starting from Nov 1) am so glad I did.
I got my Gcmsnotes yesterday, 1hrs later got BVL for all my applications including my PGWP application, I was so surprised decision was taken in a day, I was scared as well. So basically my PGWP was approved 1day.
I would advice anymore waiting for SP ext…. And you already completed your study to apply for PGWP asap. Glad the wait is over.

Congratulations! Did you send a couple of webforms before too? I sent them webforms, sought assistance from MP as well, and been trying to call IRCC every week. I was hoping that it would make the processing of the application faster.
