Did you also apply for a co-op work permit? If you don’t have co-op work permit, you can still work up to 24 hours per week under your study permit. So no reason to drop studies.
Oh like if the placements would be in the hospital
Then I can work even if i do not have my co op permt?

As long as your study permit says you can work off campus and in a healthcare setting with your approved medical then you should be able to work up to 24 hours. If you have a part-time job now you cannot work it if working at the hospital for up to 24 hours per week. Ask your school for advice and confirmation.
Oh okay
Thank you for letting me know this
I will ask my advisor then
Thanks again
