Study Permit Defer Request

Hi,

My study permit application is delay for around 3 months due to further medical examination as asked by immigration. Hence, I will not be able to join my session Sep 2018. My university is ready to accept me for next year. Is there a way to defer my current study permit application for next year, Sep 2019? I am ready to submit all the required documents. If not, do i need to repeat to entire application process including 3 months of medical process ?

Please need help on my query.

I am in same boat now,did u get ur visa..how long does it take once the further medical tests are done??
