Hi @Omofar, thank you for setting up this forum. So I have a unique case, my younger brother got admission into NAIT for academic upgrading, which is a prerequisite for his diploma. He currently has WAEC, NECO and a certificate course.

He got an LOA from NAIT and he is supposed to start the academic upgrading program in January. My dad is his sponsor, but I am really confused about the funding aspect. The cost of his academic program is about $6500 but the cost put on his letter is $18000+ for tuition (excluding accommodation).

My questions:

- When applying for the permit, are we applying for the academic upgrading program or the diploma?
- Will the proof of funds be for the academic upgrading program or will it be for the diploma?
- My dad has his company, is his company account sufficient as a sponsor? or does it have to be my dad's personal account?
- How much should we be looking at for the proof of funds? Considering that the tuition is about $18k+ (we will be paying for the full tuition for his academic upgrading program by next week).

Canada now brought
-limited employment: for someone who’s going to A level in Toronto
-finance : while the second bank statement, For someone who paid all the Tution and 1 year accomodation and still retained a balance of about 21 million with an inflow of 80million.this bank statement was better than the first application
-family ties: provided 2 plots of land and my 6siblings and parents all in Nigeria
I’ve asked for my refund already and waiting for my feedback from uk

Whose statement did you use? Is possible one can show 400m and if is not your fund for once above 30yrs going for pg or master, it will surely not be regarded as your fund. The owner can withdraw it anytime

Did you order gcms note to get the vivid rejection reason, order it is necessary

I did and I saw vo concern. He took the pg program I applied for as ordinary certificate course after having bsc, so couldn't see study progress, in real sense it was a post graduate diploma. To put an end to that drama, I have admission for master now. For fund he said he is not sure if the fund would be sufficient enough, I will pay out right 2yrs tuition and keep living expenses

I was going for an A level in Toronto and the sponsee was my dad
