Update: I got my passport back and it is stamped with the study visa. So I asked the Qatar Airways if my wife can travel with me but they said that an authorization letter is required. I don't know why those airlines complicate things, the website of Canada government clearly says authorization isn't required for such case!

Yes they say "An immediate family member may be able to come with you ", but at the bottom, it says "They don’t need a written authorization from IRCC to travel with you. ". That is a clear negative.

Click on the link “If they come with you to Canada.” It states,
If you’re an adult student with a family member who wants to come with you to Canada, you must submit your applications together when you apply online.
Did you submit your spouse‘s application with your study permit? If not, this exemption may not necessarily apply to you and your spouse may be asked for written authorization.
Hello, I have applied online for Study permit on Feb 3, I already had valid biometric info. Yesterday, I received a message from my online account saying they have made a decision about my application and that I need to send my passport to them. I have two questions, does this mean I have been approved for the visa permit? Also, my wife has a valid TRV visa until November this year, will she be able to come with me? Does she need authorization from IRCC? Let me know what you guys think or if you have a similar case please share it.
