Applied in Philippines, currently in UAE. No update till now.. Still waiting for decision, my school is not in the approved DLI list yet

Did anyone receive any ghost update today? I mean those who applied in the month of october with upfront medical and pending biometrics. And my status changed from "Your action required" to "submitted".

This makes me anxious, is that a negative sign?

mine changed back to status quo(your action is required) after few minutes

it was just a ghost update at one minute status was updated and after few minutes it changed back to your action is required

In my case, it's not changed back to "your action is required" since past two days. Is that a bad sign?

hey my status also changed to submitted yesterday looks like after one month of submission they change the status to submitted i applied on 12 october and my status changed on 13 November. Looks like it's a default change. As per my knowledge,

Yes, it pretty much looks like a default change to me as well.

No major update, apart from the default change in ones status after a month from "Your action required" to "submitted". I guess it's an automated thing and doesn't hold a value. However, I noticed someone who applied in October recently got a refusal (although his biometrics were pending). Though not confirmed, but some folks were also speaking about things like, one might get a refusal in 30 days time even though they've not given biometrics.

What about you? Any changes?

If my background check says "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information" does this mean they have started it? or is it the same with "Your application is in progress"?

What I meant is, is there any difference? because based on my observation, most people have "Your application is in progress". What if in the background check it says "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information"? what is the difference between the two?
